HOW TO JUDGE A GOOD FRYING OIL

It all starts with the quality of the ingredients you use and we all know oil is one of the key ingredients in food preparation.

  • A pale yellow to golden colour
  • A clean and clear appearance

Smell:

  • A clean and pleasant odour
  • A bland and fresh flavor - to avoid flavour transference to the food being fried.

Performance:

  • A smoke point in excess of 205°C
  • A high flash point in excess of 315°C

Quality:

  • Anti-oxidants
  • Anti- foaming agents
  • Low viscosity
